The Times Higher Education has announced the ranking of the world's best universities in 2025. The ranking includes 2000 universities from all over the world that make it the largest ever. Gorgan University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources was ranked 600 to 800 in the world ranking, moving up 200 places from last year. GUASNR is also ranked 8th out of 80 in Iran among the universities under the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.

The World University Rankings are generated from five “pillars”: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry and international outlook.

It should also be mentioned that the Times Ranking is one of the most well-known and prestigious rankings of universities within the world.
