Desert Management

In 1997, the department of Desert Management was established at the School of Natural Resources with four faculty members.

Currently, 21 Ph.D. Students and 33 master’s students in the field of Desert Management are studying in this department. The first Ph.D. Candidates enrolled in this department in the 2013-2014 academic year.

The department of Desert Management is equipped with two specialized research laboratories, including 1- Desert Management Lab, and 2- Applied Geology and Geomorphology Lab as well as a Research farm.
