In 1989, the Department of Watershed Management was established at the School of Natural Resources and currently has six faculty members. Currently, 29 Ph.D. Students in the field of Watershed Sciences & Engineering and 71 master’s students in the field of Watershed Management are studying in this department. The first Ph.D. Candidates enrolled in this department in the 2013-2014 academic year.

The Department of Watershed Management is equipped with two specialized research laboratories, including 1- Watershed Studies Lab, and 2- Eco-hydrology Lab.
