Poultry Science Journal has been published since 2013 and it is one of the most popular publications at Gorgan University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources as well as internationally. In 2017, PSJ magazine successfully established a profile in SCOPUS. By 2020, it achieved acceptance with a profile of Emerging Sources Citation Index in WOS and in 2022, it was awarded an Impact Factor. currently, this scientific journal is indexed in the Q3 (quartile) of the Scopus  and the Q4 (quartile) of the WOS .
