Dr. Sättar Ezzati, Assistant Professor of Forest logistics and transportation made a speech about Optimization to support forest engineering problems in mountainous forests.

This lecture is the result of his joint research with various researchers from 2020 to 2024. Dr. Ezzati initially provided an introduction to Gorgan University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources along with the facilities available for the performance of research and educational activities at the Faculty of Forestry Sciences. He subsequently addressed the primary challenges encountered by forestry engineering in the mountainous forests of Iran and showcased some of the research works published by his research group across diverse areas of forestry engineering. The lecture was attended by several lecturers from the Faculty of Forestry Engineering at the Malaysian School of Forestry, as well as by Dr. Norizah Kamarudin 's PhD students.
