Dr. Seyed Hossein Hosseinifar, Professor of Aquaculture Department, and Dr. Hossein Kazemi, Professor of Horticulture Department of GUASNR, attended the 5th International Conference on Food Security, which was held in Moscow on September 23-25, at the invitation of RUDN University of Russia.

Dr. Hosseinifar delivered a presentation during the panel discussion on Sustainable Development and Food Security within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization nations, focusing on the sustainable advancement of aquaculture through the application of food supplements.

During this conference, he suggested establishing a collaborative consortium focused on sustainable aquaculture among the countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

He participated in the panel of young scientists and shared his scientific insights.

In a different part of this global conference, Dr. Hossein Kazemi took part in the panel representing BRICS nations and presented a talk regarding the health of agricultural landscapes and their relationship to food safety.

During this conference, he introduced a comprehensive framework designed to evaluate the well-being of agricultural landscapes.

It is worth mentioning that this scientific trip included a visit to the RUDN University of Russia, a meeting with the Vice President of International Affairs of the university, a review of strategies for fostering joint cooperation, and a visit to the Institute of Agrobiotechnology.
