The knowledge-based Nano Novin Polymer Company, which is located in the center of excellence of GUASNR, is led by Dr. Hossein Yousefi, professor of Department of Wood Technology and Engineering. The company has achieved two Technology Readiness Level (TRL) certificates, both at the highest level of 9.

These products include the Three-layer Respirator Mask and Nanomask. They also offer N95 and N99 Respirator Masks and Nanomasks with cellulose nanofibers.

The Technology Readiness Level (TRL) is a standard used to assess the maturity of a technology as it progresses from an initial concept to a fully developed product. In this classification, level 9 represents the highest degree of technology maturity, signifying that the product has been successfully commercialized and is performing reliably in real-world operational conditions and market environments.

Dr. Yousefi stated: "The production of these products was achieved through the application of the master's and doctoral theses of Dr." Armin Jamali, with my guidance in the Wood Technology and Engineering Department, was involved in the design and implementation of a project focused on the manufacturing and assessment of respiratory nanomasks aimed at absorbing airborne dust.
